◇ 평택시국제교류재단, 영어 연극반 시작 - PIEF

경기도 평택시국제교류재단은 품격 있는 국제도시 평택의 발전을 위해 끊임없이 도약하고있다. 올해 처음으로 관내 중학교 대상으로 실시하게된 글로벌 인재 양성을 위한 ‘영어 연극반’ 운영을 중학생 중심으로 시작하였다.

지난 6월 12일 (금)에 평택의 한 중학교에서 첫수업을 시작한 영어 연극반 시작으로 학생들은 선생님의 지도로 간단한 몸풀기와 발성훈련을 하면서 재미있는 수업시간을 보냈다고 한다.

경기도 평택시 국제교류단에서 함께하는 관내 중학교 '영어 연극반'은 유명한 영어동화를 쉬운 대본으로 각색하여, 학생들 각각의 맡은 배역을 대사로 표현하면서 영어에 대한 자신감을 증대시킬 수 있으며, 나아가 학생들 간의 팀워크 향상도 기대해보고 있다.

평택시국제교류재단은 학생들이 영어연극을 시작으로 자신감 있게 영어를 배우며 즐기는 시간을 가지며, 본인의 끼를 발휘할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 제공할 것이라고 한다.

PIEF, Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation started 'English Drama Class' for middle school students for the first time this year in order to foster global talent. The students of the English Drama Class, who started their first class on Friday, June 12, had fun with warming up and vocal training under the guidance of their teacher. Adapting famous English fairy tales into easy play scripts, the English drama class can increase confidence in English Speaking for students by expressing characters in English, and furthermore, it is expected to improve students’ teamwork PIEF will provide students with various programs to show their talents, speaking English with confidence through English Drama Class and enjoying it.
